Choosing the Right
Bundle Texture
Texture is one of the most important decisions you'll make when buying bundles. The right texture blends seamlessly with your natural hair, suits your lifestyle, and holds up through your styling routine. Here's what you need to know before you buy.
Body Wave
Loose, flowing S-shaped waves that mimic natural hair movement. Versatile enough to wear wavy or flat-ironed straight. Low-frizz and beginner-friendly.
Best SellerStraight
Silky and sleek with zero curl pattern. Blends beautifully with relaxed or flat-ironed natural hair. Requires more maintenance to avoid tangling in humidity.
Low MaintenanceDeep Wave
Tight, defined spiral waves with dramatic volume. Stunning when worn curly and can be straightened, though it will revert. Best for women who love a full, bold look.
High VolumeLoose Wave
Softer and more relaxed than body wave with a gentle S-pattern. Blends well with naturally wavy or lightly textured hair. Easy to maintain and style.
Natural BlendCurly
Tight coils or ringlets that add major definition and volume. Ideal for women with naturally curly or coily hair. Requires moisture-rich care to prevent frizz.
Bold & DefinedWater Wave
A hybrid between body wave and deep wave — soft, beachy ripples with natural movement. Gorgeous when wet and dries beautifully with minimal effort.
Effortless StylePro Tip
If you're unsure which texture to start with, Body Wave is the most forgiving. It can be worn wavy for a natural look or flat-ironed straight for a sleek finish — giving you two styles in one install. It also blends with the widest range of natural hair types.

How Many Bundles
Do I Need?
Choosing the right number of bundles is one of the most important decisions you'll make when investing in quality hair extensions. Too few bundles can result in a thin, see-through install. Too many can feel bulky, heavy, or unnecessary. The goal is balance — fullness that looks natural, moves beautifully, and lasts.
The Short Answer
14–18 inches: 2 bundles (average fullness)
20–22 inches: 2–3 bundles
24–26 inches: 3 bundles
28 inches and longer: 3–4 bundles
That said, length alone is not the full story.

01
Why Length Changes Everything
Hair bundles are measured when the hair is stretched straight. The longer the hair, the more the ends naturally taper. Shorter bundles appear fuller from top to bottom; longer bundles require more hair to maintain thickness at the ends. A 16″ install with two bundles can look full and polished. A 26″ install with only two bundles will almost always look thin.
Rule of thumb: The longer the hair, the more bundles you'll need to maintain visual density. -
02
Texture Matters More Than You Think
Different textures expand and behave differently. Straight & Silky Straight lies flat and shows thinness more easily — it requires more bundles for fullness. Body Wave & Loose Wave adds natural volume and is forgiving — standard recommendations apply. Curly & Coily textures shrink and expand once installed, often requiring fewer bundles than straight styles.
Example: Two bundles of curly hair may look as full as three bundles of straight hair at the same length. -
03
Your Natural Hair & Head Size
Two people can buy the same bundles and get very different results. Consider the thickness of your natural hair, the size of your head, and how much leave-out you prefer. If you have thick natural hair, you may need an extra bundle to blend properly. A smaller head may need fewer bundles. Minimal leave-out typically requires more bundles.
-
04
Wear Habits & Longevity
How you plan to wear your hair matters as much as how it looks on day one. For daily wear or long-term installs, hair settles and sheds over time — always err on the side of one extra bundle. For occasional wear, less manipulation means hair maintains fullness longer and standard recommendations are usually sufficient.
Density Guide
Light / Natural Density — Mimics fine to medium natural hair. Soft, airy movement. Ideal for first-time wearers.
14–18″: 2 bundles · 20–22″: 2 bundles · 24–26″: 2–3 bundles
Medium / Everyday Density — Full without looking heavy. Best for most clients.
14–18″: 2 bundles · 20–22″: 3 bundles · 24–26″: 3 bundles · 28″: 3–4 bundles
Full / Glam Density — Noticeably thick and voluminous. Ideal for bold styles or luxury installs.
14–18″: 3 bundles · 20–22″: 3–4 bundles · 24–26″: 4 bundles · 28″: 4+ bundles
Closure vs. Frontal
Closure Install (4×4, 5×5, 6×6): Requires more bundles because less area is covered. Hair must fill the entire head.
Short to medium: 2–3 bundles · Long lengths: 3–4 bundles
Frontal Install (13×4, 13×6): Covers the entire hairline, reducing the number of bundles needed.
Short to medium: 2 bundles · Long lengths: 3 bundles
Expert Recommendation Summary
Choose medium density unless you're intentionally going very natural or very glam.
Add one extra bundle for lengths over 22″.
Straight hair almost always needs more hair than you think.
Curly textures go further with fewer bundles.
When in doubt, fullness always looks better than thinness.
If you're between bundle counts, it's better to purchase one additional bundle. Unused bundles can be saved for future installs — a thin install can't be fixed once it's in.

How Hair Bundles
Perform Best
Beautiful hair doesn't stop at quality — how it's put together matters just as much. The way your bundles are constructed affects how the hair moves, how long it lasts, and how it holds up to everyday wear.
The Foundation
Tangling, shedding, and matting don't usually come from "bad hair"… they come from poor construction. Even the most premium virgin hair can disappoint if it's built without balance or intention. That's why understanding construction makes all the difference.
-
01
Hair Quality vs. How Hair Behaves
Hair quality is about the strands — softness, alignment, and integrity. Hair performance is about how that hair acts once it's on your head. Performance is shaped by how full the unit is, how the hair is distributed, balance at the nape, and how it's worn and cared for. Good hair doesn't automatically mean good wear. Construction is what turns good hair into great hair.
-
02
More Hair Isn't Always Better
It's easy to think, "Let me add another bundle just to be safe." But too much density often causes more problems — not fewer. Overloading a unit can increase friction, trap shed hair, cause faster tangling at the nape, and shorten the life of the wig. Balanced fullness lets the hair flow naturally and protects the areas that experience the most stress.
-
03
Why the Nape Deserves Special Attention
The nape is the hardest-working part of any wig. It's constantly exposed to clothing friction, body heat, and movement throughout the day. When a unit is too dense or unbalanced in this area, tangling shows up quickly — even with high-end hair. Thoughtful construction focuses on comfort, movement, and longevity, not just volume.
-
04
How You Wear Your Hair Matters Too
Even the best-constructed unit needs realistic wear habits. Longevity is influenced by daily vs. occasional wear, heat usage, rotating units, friction at the nape, and nighttime and storage care. Daily wear with constant heat will shorten the life of any unit — quality included.
Our Bundle Recommendations
Straight & Body Wave Textures: 2.5–3 bundles · Closure preferred for everyday wear · Balanced density to protect the nape.
Curly & Kinky Textures: 3 bundles · Lighter, intentional fullness · Proper ventilation to preserve curl pattern.
Adding extra bundles won't improve wear — and in many cases, it shortens how long the unit lasts.
Closures vs. Frontals
Closures: More durable for daily wear · Less manipulation required · Typically last longer.
Frontals: More styling freedom · Higher maintenance · More sensitive to heat and tension.
The best choice depends on how often you'll wear and style the unit, not just how it looks on day one.
The Real Goal
Our goal isn't perfection — it's performance. When hair is thoughtfully constructed, worn with intention, and cared for properly, it looks better, feels better, and lasts longer. That's luxury you can actually live in.
